Preface
The 2nd International Conference on Modern Mechanics and Applications (ICOMMA2025), held every five years, serves as a forum for researchers, educators, and practitioners working in the field of mechanics and its applications in engineering and technology.
ICOMMA2025 is jointly organized by the Vietnam Association for Mechanics and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), and will take place on October 17–19, 2025, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. The conference provides a platform for exchanging new achievements, discussing applications of mechanics, and exploring research directions in mechanics both domestically and internationally, contributing to national development and global integration.
The conference features and discusses more than 100 scientific papers from both domestic and international authors in various areas of mechanics, the majority of which are contributed by young researchers. Selected papers presented at the conference are published in special issues of the Journal of Science and Transport Technology, University of Transport Technology (Scopus), the Vietnam Journal of Mechanics (ACI), and the Conference Proceedings.
